Description
Carcassing timber is a kiln-dried treated structural graded softwood that is most often seen in construction where a grading stamp is needed.
It can be utilised in a variety of ways both internally and externally, and it’s widely used in floor joists, roof joists, and timber framing construction.
No matter the application, it’s relatively easy to cut treated timber to the size that you need in your project, though this should only be attempted with the appropriate power tools, eye protection and a respirator.
