Each LR14 or C size cell is rated at a nominal 1.5 Volts and features simple, reliable zinc carbon battery chemistry. These disposable consumer batteries are designed for single use and are best suited to low power applications such as illuminated children’s toys with relatively low current drain or occasional domestic usage – including portable radios or music players.
Medium-sized cylindrical C-cells measure 49.4 millimetres in height and have a diameter of 25.4 millimetres. Each of the two batteries in this dual pack weights 47.7 grammes. These Panasonic C-cell LR14 batteries are also occasionally referred to as size codes R14RZ, MN1400 or MX1400, 14A and 14AC and, formerly in the UK only, as SP11 or HP11.
